“People who love to eat are always the best people.” Julia Child once uttered these words, and I’ve clung to them since I first discovered them, which was years ago. My husband and I always reconnect over a meal, and we love to discover new places and spaces. A few weeks ago I made reservations, and in child-like wonder we eagerly anticipated our arrival to your doorstep. Last Thursday finally arrived, and we stepped into the spectacular space where culinary magic happens, your restaurant. People who love to eat are the best people, but it’s the people who make the meal that are better than the best.
From the start, I knew this was the beginning of a special relationship. We had read about “Farm to Fork,” and the menu exceeded the description. Each bite was better than the last, and I’m still in awe of the flavors and freshness. FYI, I had the Skate, which was outstanding. And just when I thought my heart couldn’t melt anymore, my blueberry parfait was served. Is it bad to admit I’ve dreamed of it since?
It was a beautiful evening, made even better by a cool and crisp cocktail. Hardies Perfection deserves all the press in the world, so kudos to Jamie Dodge.
I’m grateful for the edible experience, and I’m eager for our next visit.
We bought a house! After months of looking, we found our perfect place. It’s our first home, and we’re excited to begin another journey. There will be more news on the actual home later, but not until closing. In the meantime, I look forward to making our house a home.
Central NJ/Bucks County PA is home to some excellent furniture shops and home furnishing stores. However, decorating on a budget is a challenge.
This week I’m off to explore some new stores. The goal is to exercise restraint, but it’s difficult with so much excitement and fine merchandise available. However, I’ll do my best to be on good spending behavior. The spending commenced this morning, as we offered to purchase the current homeowner’s kitchen table and chairs. It fits perfectly in the room, and it’s one less item to move/have delivered.
In the next week I intend to visit the following stores:

I promise to report on my finds, and I’ll adding to the list often.
I’ve spent a lot of time on Pinterest, which is both a blessing and a burden. Pinterest leads me to believe I can do more projects, but also inspires me to make more purchases.
Our home purchase has enabled me make a list of Pinterest projects and purchases. Stay tuned for my suburban adventures in home furnishings.
